Harrold is the driving force behind the Innovation Institute. It's his dream come true: a place where people who use wheelchairs pool their creativity, develop their talents and interests, and increase their earning power.
Nancy Andresen
Board Member and Secretary
Nancy's compassion for people, attention to detail, and prayer support make her a valuable member of the team. She has done the bookkeeping for Innovation Institute since its founding in 2003. She is Harrold's wife and a source of great encouragement to him.
William H. Arthur
Board Member
Bill's experience is in real estate development and consulting, with a special interest in non-profit start-up, strategic planning, and financial management. He supports the Institute with encouragement, sharing of wisdom, and creative thinking.
David Daffin
Board Member
David is a man of many interests and is continually learning. He brings to the Board a great wealth of knowledge, business experience, and compassion for people.
Melinda Havran
Board Member
Melinda was born with Arthrotryposis, a condition that causes muscle weakness and limited range of motion. In spite of having to use a wheelchair, she earned a Masters in Social Work and is now a Case Manager at Reliant Rehabilitation Hospital, Bedford, Texas.
Peter A. Thorne
Board Member
Peter retired from the International Linguistics Center at Dallas, TX in 2010 and began volunteering regularly with Innovation Institute in early 2011. He sees this as a great place to help meet needs that are often overlooked.
